Hi everybody.
I am new to this board, and thought this would be a good place to start and introduce myself.
Breif overview:
I live in northern Wisconsin and I like to play with and run fast boats.
Boats:
1985 Baja 1700 sunsport, 150 merc 2.0 V6-65MPH (speedo) @5900RPM 25" Merc Tempest
1978 Checkmate V-mateI, Merc 115-Inlne, recently aquired w/ no guages. It should really haul the mail with the right set up------next spring. (can you say 150XS)
Year unknown- 12' Elimnator Daytona (layed up in the Shawno Plant) Merc Mark 58 (44 CID) - not enough seat time to determine capabilities-- would think mid 50's with the right prop.
1980 Glastron Carlson CVX 20 Intiminator (260 I/0) --I Just use it as the lake cruiser cause it sounds cool - However it will run over 65MPH, not bad for an old Carlson---in my opinion.
Girlfreind's Boat: '76 Carlson (restored) w/ Merc 1000 (classic setup)- lots - O - Fun.
Anyway, thats it in a nutshell. Thanks for all the great info on this board.
Looking forward to being a member!
