Took the slow boat out for a spin yesterday. It was 50 degrees with a 12 mph wind and it ran 95 mph. Didn't even need gloves! :D Getting it ready for the Florida trip next month. Looking forward to the Toys for Tots run!! Tom

My company is sending me to look at a laser marker in Orlando. I'm coming down early to do some boating and do the Toys for Tots run. Weather is supposed to be in the mid 50's all this week yet. Very odd for Michigan but I'll take it!! Tom

Absolutley nothing. Deer, lots of rain, rednecks in 4 wheel drives, just hooked up on a nice old firebird for my 428, was out screwing with that last night. Was suposed to go in for surgery tomorrow, but the surgeon is sick, so I'm scheduled for Tuesday, maybe I'll come down tomorrow, kinda bored.

How ya been? Need your input on ODBA rules for next year. I'm for gettin the weight down in U/L. Ray Leach has been chosen for class rep. Point is anyone interested in U/L or any other class needs to contact there respective rep w/any proposed ideas or changes. My thoughts are 1200# w/spray 1,000 w/out. I think the lower weights will bring more botes to the class. The lower weights will not benifit us personally since we can't get to about 1225/1230 minimum. I jus wanna see more botes competing in U/L w/ ODBA Check the BYUBOYZ.COM site thers alot of discussion goin on there... Hope to see ya again next year... Vic:D

I'm doing pretty good thanks. I have been talking to Jeff Young about the weights too. I have no problems with the 1000 w/o and 1200 with. I'll go with what the ruling is. I don't think I can get down to 1000 but that's ok. I would have to stop eating donuts, that won't happen!! I was 1170 with 10 gallons of fuel on board at Jasper. I've been playing with the lake boat lately. It's a Seebold Warrior with 2.4 carb and 29 Hoss prop does 95 in less than 1/2 mile. Set up pretty good. Only turns 6500 rpm too. Tom

Well, I don't have the trailer @ Sandy Beach anymore & don't get up to Hardy much (twice last year). I was on house arrest all this summer (6months total). I'll try my best to get up there this summer, my dad still has a place on Croton . I just can't seem to get used to the "new Midway", it's just not as good as the old DUMP I once loved. Just sold my last Drag motor,so for now got a boat with NO POWER, looking for a super clean 01 or 02 280 ROS. Scott :D

I'll be in touch, l8tr.
Any time you guys want a break in the weather let me know.
I've now proven my theory of climate control. I simply have to start taking my boat apart, and TADA! instant 60 degrees. Enjoy it.

IT'S STILL BOATIN SEASON!!
Just got a new power pack, a 28" Chopper (soon to become a 28 ET:eek: ), and a 30" Spinelli Cleaver.( Cleaver due late this week)
I will be testing regardless of weather.
Drag120, very cool going to Fla!! I'm jealous.
Me and the Mrs. came very close to making the trip but decided to save the $$ and vacation time until we can go down and go job hunting.
Be carefull on your trip and have fun!!
Gary
To get over 36,000 miles on that new rig before the year is out, so that he's got a new truck with no warranty :D
You need a work beater Tom! Save the GMC for trips only!
We just blew ALL our money on the new truck, no trips no vacations no new hot boat for a couple years.............:(
