where can i buy reed material to cut myself? what are the specs on it, fr4, fr5, etc.? also, someone said carbon fiber was good, another said it wasn't. what's the latest news on what IS the best?

Try McMasters and Carr in Atlanta or A-1 Plastics in Houston. McMasters has smaller pieces but the price is likely a bit higher. We have been getting some 2' X 2' sheets in various materials from e-poxy glass to carbon fiber from McMasters and Carr.
