racer - intake question

Racer, in a recent post you indicated that the 86 - 89 intake manifolds were the best. I,m rebuilding a 2000 HO and have a 87? powerhead. Stamped # 7N87Y - cast#333619. Will that intake work on the 2000? If so what mods and benefits?

Yes they will fit but you will need to machine them where your cable bracket mounts. Your 2000 intake is also good so you will see very little difference.
