View Full Version : How do you unhook oil injection from a 1993 Yamaha Pro-V 200 hp??
I want to run mixed fuel for obvious reasons. How do you disconnect the oil injection on these motors?

I pulled the modules, pulled the pump, drive, and lines, injection valve, and installed a block off plate. I used marine tex to fill in the injection ports to prevent a vacuum leak. I'm pretty sure you can do this to yours a also without setting the alarm

Only difference would be the oil module. It is built into computer mounted in rear of engine. Make sure you pull the shaft when removing the oil pump.

Do you have to go inside the motor to do this or can it all be done without tearing it apart? I am assuming the shaft is beneath the pump?

pull the pump of and the shaft will fal out, unhook the rod going to the oil pump, and disconnect all the hoses. plug the hoses with screws or somthing along those lines. pin the float up on the oil tank and it will be fine
