1985? V-6 midsection (external trim pump) any good?

I just bought a 1985 .i think.....Midsection and lower unit....all i really needed was the lower unit...the midsection was a saltwater unit.It has the external style trim...is this mid more or less desireable then the one with the internal trim? is it worth anything?..anyone interested? thanks Mike

I asked once what the deal was on the aftermaket cowls- they're lighter so your not carrying as much weight past the transom.
So your not carring the pump aft of the transom.
