636 - 8119A 5 anyone ever hear of this? Its supposed to be a big rod according to the Doug Russel site its a big rod like a 625-5250.

I know that it costs about $225.00 from the dealer.

thanks guys, all i knew was that they looked like a 5250 but never heard of anything with that # before. Are they any good or was it one of those racer only rod that didnt do its job well?

They are about az good az lil rodz go...I do like tha top guide, new model rods better, but used tha small 2.4 rodz in all tha drag motors, and even pumped river motors...I now use tha top guide rod, because it iz narrower, and wider, and blocks less ov tha opening in tha rod slot...I use tha big 2.0 /2.4 rods in a stockie river motor...tha extra rotating weight helps it idle smoother, and gives better block stuffing for low end power...REX:cool:
