while having a meet with our region chair I was advised by him that I would be best to simply go fishing this weekend. That I may not be welcome at the Ocoee event. I was then informed by another who was in direct contact with the race director, who stated that I would be permited to run.

So I will be there to see who the lizards are and what rocks they hide under;)

aperently so. But I do not know how. It would seem that in the region 5 racing polotics,, If you have an opinion on how to make things better, even up competition, or express that any equipment that you own, does not belong to the region, or anyother veiws outside of "the way it has been done for the past 50 yrs" then you is the devil and the cronies want you "out"!

I would call this behavior childish,,, but I give children more credit.

The A P B A SUCK'S.There has been only one region 5 section in Propeller magazine in the past 6 month's.Its as if we dont exsist.I think Jeff Pira has done a great job with the races that he has put on.They could definetly learn something from him if they would realize that they have only one mouth and two ears.I wonder why we have two ears ?????:D

APBA prints everything that your region sends to them. If nothing got printed.............nothing was sent from your region.

Region meetings are coming up...........go..........speak up......volunteer if you think things can/should go better or be done differently.

You are right ,,,mostly. yes region meeting are coming up and yes go to them. attendence is important!!

Propeller Magazine will infact print mostly what is sent. True if not sent, it won't be printed. however......

"APBA sucks"? Not a bad statment because it is APBA that is suppose to supply leadership for each region and impress proper ethects for all of those in APBA command positions. This is where the Failer is. Most regions are on a "do-as-they-please" program as long as they send headquarters the moneies that they ask. Region 5 is being run by the good-ole-boy network. and if not corrected soon. It will suffer certain death!:mad:

IMHO=APBA is not responsible for the region 5 leadership.. Region 5 members are. Additionally, it is up to the leadership of region 5 to input to APBA .

The region 5 racing group was severely damaged by the split of FORA and the new USBRA.

The region does not need more clubs, it needs the clubs that currently exist to work together. The infighting, in this fans eyes , sucks, and is self defeating..no one will win.
