I know this has been covered before but, I'm needing someone to explain to me how to get some pics posted. All I my need is a web site to upload the pics to, I'm not sure.

Mitch,
Here's how you do it:
Make sure you're logged in.
When you create a new thread, or you reply to one, you'll notice a button below the text box that says, "Attach File." Click on that, and it will allow you to browse on your hard drive to locate the file. Double-click on the file you want to add, then press "Submit." That's really it. Just remember that all pictures should be in JPEG format - no larger than 800 x 800 pixels and 250 KB in size.
Almost any photo editing program can resize images. There are many free programs available for download too. Pixia is one of them, which can be downloaded here: http://www.ab.wakwak.com/~knight/
Contact me if you need any further assistance.

Yes it's mine. I haven't had the gps in the boat when I've been at the lake. I've been fighting some problems. The boat should run between 107 and 115 in a 1/4 mile when I get everything working.

Greg, help!
I can't seem to resize a picture correctly on the first try. I downloaded Pixia and it may be too complicated for a dumb butt like me. I also have a program called xnview that will resize, but I have to keep redoing everything over and over to get it right. When I resize to 600 x 400 or less, the file is still too large. This probably isn't a good explanation, but can you tell me how to get a picture the correct size on the first try? Thanks.

I have been taking the largest number down to 800, cause Greg said that 800 x 800 was the largest size to use, but when I do this, I always end up with too many KB's.

Not familiar with that program. Somewhere in the save options there should be an option for compression or quality. For posting on the boards you need to set it at fairly high compression or low quality. The difference won't be much noticeable on a computer screen and the file size will be smaller.

600 doesn't work for me. I have to go down to about 550. Maybe I need to adjust something on the camera. Anyhoo, I got it done.
