Most of my customers that are running a non stock class run the Denso Iridium IWF24 plugs with good success ! The B9 ( 10 )HVX is a very top performing plug also. Both brands recovers ( cleans up ) very well at quick throttle snaps after idleing up to the line.
Good luck,
Casey

What gains have people seen?
(Except faster acceleration due to a lighter wallet)

On my dyno Iridium shows a slight gain in power over7500 but no gains bellow that. They help more with a weak ignition as it takes less to fire them.

Markus has a good link on jetting on his website. The jetting article says that besides better fouling resistance, wire tip plugs give an added advantage in that the plug tips tend to burn up before you meltdown when run in a detonation-prone condition. Is there a wire tip version of QL78YC?
Different question: NGK's fat tip BPR7HS are supposed to cross to QL78YC's. The NGK's look like they have a much crisper edge on the tips. The Champion tips look like they were sheared in a sloppy die. They have a soft edge on one side and a cusp on the other. Does anyone run NGK's in a looper? I've only seen the guru's here recommend the QL78YC's.

NGK BR8HIX = Denso IWF24
NGK BR9HIX = Denso not available in this heat range
NGK BR10HIX = Denso IWF27
NGK $6.95
Denso $11.99
priced individually at www.sparkplugs.com (Monarch Products) in large quantity, the prices come down.
There ARE differences in the plugs construction and not just the price. I have seen the Denso plugs (in various heat ranges) make more power and last longer in every thing from rotarys to Big Blocks.
