My buddy has a 1977 Eliminator pickle fork. It has a Berkely Jet and he is about to install a 400hp 454 in it.......Any "guesstimates" on mph? How much does this hull weigh?
It's my guess that these "pickle fork" boat have only one use, huh? Drag racing or straight line, smooth water high speed runs? I can't imagine even making a wide slow turn @ 60 mph like I can in my Skeeter.
Based on what I've read here on previous threads, I told him that he should bring a full face helmet with him for high speed runs as it will probably be a 80+ mph boat.......JJim
