Now can I take a nap?? :D :D got up at 6:00am after going to bed around 1:00 or 1:15am :o Yeah, I was working on the boat that late. I think I wrapped it up around 12:30 or so. When it lit off it was all worth it. I got my second wind after it ran for a bit. We had a couple of bugs to work out, but all in all a relatively painless first time. ;) Tomorrow should be fun. I close at Auto Zone tonight so I'l get home around 9:30 or so. Throw the louvers on the cowl temporarily and that's about it for me and boat work.
Thanks for the compliments. It already feels good to have a running boat again and I haven't even dumped it in the lake yet :D

Hey Gus, good eye!! That's the mid featured in the tutorial :D Sounds pretty nasty in the water too :D I LIKE IT!!!
Gary, thanks bro, no need to tell Bobby about the party, when we show up with the beer, he'll get the hint ;)
Oh and the motor needs to go up another half inch
Thanks Mac, bring that Looper on. We'll take turns making each other look good in front of our friends :D : D
Got the boat wet today. Had to replace the switchboxes, and fix a carb glitch, but other than that, all was good. Spent the day running out of Alligator Lake Mike's house. Mikey's back and doing well. Sure was good to see him. As usual his hospitality and generosity were unmatched. I ended up getting pulled back to the trailer on the rope because the dumbass that wired the boat (see my signature) didn't wire the fuel gauge sending unit and promptly ran out of gas late in the afternoon. But hey! I can't think of a better reason to have to be towed back than that. If I'm being towed because I ran out of gas, that means I got to do some serious cruising and the boat ran well enough to burn through the whole tank. After a little celebratory dinner after I got home, all is right with the boating part of my world. :D
Next stop....East Lake?...Kissimmee River?... Gotta log a few more hours before Sanford. ;)
