Shipping an engine?

Does anyone know a reasonable way to ship a complete v-6 engine from NJ to upstate NY? I tried several different trucking companies, but they all want close to $500.00. We only pay $125.oo to get engines from Fond Du Lac! If anyone can help, please let me know. I really need to get this engine up to the boarder store so it can be picked up. I recently had an engine shipped from Ohio to Saskatchewan Canada for $261 USD with American Freightways. They were great but I was given a couple of other leads too. I recommend that you read the original thread.

We ship motors-powerheads weekly and I use a guy named Greg , he is at 1-888-225-9422 he is a shipping broker and I have always had good results and the rates are dirt cheap!
