Dear FASTcompany,
This Saturday (September 8, 2001), Bruce Nicole and Rhino’s Restaurant will be hosting the annual Rice Lake Poker Run, (RLPR) at Bewdley, Ontario, Canada. Although this is not a sanctioned PBCC event, PBCC assists and strongly supports the event.
The event covers approximately 100 miles of various water conditions from sheltered, open (ruff water) to river. The event is recommended for boats that are 18’ minimum. The event is one of the best small boat poker runs around and it is actually in it’s 10th year. The event has drawn as many as 80 boats over the years.
As a special treat, Mark Rotharmel of SpeedVision’s Powerboat Television Show is bringing their crew to do a feature on PBCC and the event. So if you cannot attend we will let you know when the episode airs in the Winter/ Spring.
