Merc Head Gaskets

Does Mercury make a 2.5 head gasket that is thicker than stock? If so does anyone have that part number handy?

I think mercury offers a 31 and a 51 thousandth thick head gasket, which one do you need i just got a set of gaskets from glen reynolds, if you need the thick ones i will get you the part#.

They are the Pro Marine brand. There is the stock thickness, then a 1.0 mm thick, and a .75 mm thick. They are half the cost of Merc's gaskets. Let us know if we can help you. :cool:

Thank for all the info. My buddy has stock gaskets now. His compression is a little high. (32cc heads) We had been told that there is a thicker than stock gasket so he wanted to try those to reduce his compression.:cool:
