I made this bracket because I removed the 225HO limited Johnsons and replaced them with 2.5 mercs. The mercs are about 100 lbs lighter a piece and I was told I needed a lot of setback. I cant say for shore If it was the right move because I never ran it without the bracket But It runs and flies like it should. The bracket is overkill because I did not want to loose the motors at speed.

Nice bracket,
If you don't mind me asking, About how much do you think you have invested in the bracket.

The material was almost $600 My cost. I think it took about 4 or 5 hours to fabricate and about 4 or 5 hours to weld (multiple passes inside and out 100%) It is even gusseted inside.
