I haven't heard any more about Lake X closing. I read this in last month's "Poker Runs America" magazine and it doesn't sound like it is closing any time soon.

I talked to a guy at Mercury Racing today about some other stuff and asked him. Lake X is still up and running.

We've got a new member here who works at Lake X. I don't recall the screen name. He registered with one that was very similar to one already in use, then changed to another one when the duplication was discovered.

Maybe he'll tell us what goes on with the future of it.

Very hard to believe they would let that go unless the locals are taxing it out of existance or something. Besides, Merc could make more $$$ off it pretty easy. Maybe set up a web cam and charge a subscription...:D
