She is a 91' Chevy 3/4 ton
6" lift (suspension)
38x15.5-16.5 Parnelli Jones Dirt Gripz
Killed the engine last year, built a new one, .40" over 350, with a stroker Crank, I think like 392ci or somewhere close to there....
Has 9.6/1 compression, forged crank, forged pistons, blah blah, Comp Cams 270 series magnum cam....Many goodies.....
According to my DeskTop Dyno, which can be pretty accurate, I should be somewhere around 330-340 Hp, and 445ish lb's torque..............
Winch is a Patriot (Ramsey) 9500, bolted to a custom winch bumber built by my buddie, Marquardt Motersports........ Also Hedman headders, stainless exhaust, and flowmaster, 2 chamber mufflers.........
Thats my daily driver.......lol Lookin' for a 4 banger to drive though, GAS ISN'T CHEAP! lol

YUP, JUST THE RIGHT HIEGHT!!!!!!!!!!Fearless, well, not yet he isn't, thats my girlfriends son, she is pregnant with mine now, so, I'll have my Mini Me come November to corrupt! Her son, Zack, is well, kind of a weenie! lol.. Descent kid and all, just a bit on the 'easily sceered' side! I'll get him trained right soon enough!!!!!!!!

Boaterbum, your truck is awsome! Sure is a lot of work you got into that thing!
I used to have a 1989 Z71 Short box reg cab, but had to sell it, couldn't fit both the wife and the Rottie in it at the same time.:D Too bad as I really liked the Z71. Gotta say though in the month I have had the ZR2 I like it even better than the Z71.
I see from your sig. that we both have Vectors! Hows yours run with a white motor?

Boaterbum

Thanks on the truck, yes, iI have been making improvements to her for wuite some time now, seems to never end! soo much one can do!!!!!!!
As for the Vector, well, I have never been partial to either brand of motor, white or black! lol I like how she runs with the Jonnie, price was right. BUT, it is a bit on the heavy side, I have been looking and thinking of going to a Mercury, not sure yet.... I didn't run her this year, restoring the hull, BAD delamination, but, I was very pleased with her when she was goin'.....speeds were an unstable 80-82, but, I didn't have much for the right props to work with, so......I am going through her, hull, engine, new lower unit, mounts, next season, I hope to get used to her again and slowly creep closer to that 90ish mark.........
How's your go with the Blackie on her transom?????? Mods??? Pics???
Catch ya later, tony./....

Seems like all the old Streams ewventually need restoring, thankfully mine is still holding up fine.

Best I have seen so far was 84mph on GPS with a borrowed 29" SRX. I consistantly get 80-81 at 6300rpm's with a 28" Mazco RE4. Motor is a bone stock 1981 Merc 225 with the exception of Solid mounts and Velocity stacks, with a CLE lower unit. Also has 4"L&S jackplate.

My Vector now handles great, like its on rails but was a handfull when I bought it without the solid mounts, no jackplate, wrong prop and had a stock lower unit without LWP or a torque tab..

Hey Brent, nice lookin' rig, sounds like ma riot! I am looking, HOPING to get that one that was for sale in Tennesee a few weeks ago, gonna go check my private message and see if I still have a shot at her! looks like a mint vector, DRY, solid, not a bad price, less engine, same color as yours..... we'll see.... Catch ya later,
~Tony~

At half track my old 72 blazer with a 11:1 LT1 was way faster than anybody. The problem was the water hole and a cracked distibutor cap.
