having a disagreement with my ISP, so here's a very late thank you list
First off thanks to Gary and everyone else who organized the Rumble - I know it took a lot of work, but it was a great weekend and the MAWF really benefited from it.
Thanks to all the people in the band - Skip who let me use the bass amp and who saved my neck with duct tape, Bob who brought all the PA gear, ran sound, and still managed to show me chord changes on the fly, Damage Inc. that managed to drum through whatever we came up with, Shorepounder who played both drums and guitar (and was probably one of the few Blackmore fans there), Capt. Insane-o, Joey, Bassman (hope your Marsshall head is doing better), and the many people that sat in for a song or two. I love jamming with new people, and I had a great time all wekend.
Got to meet so many people as well - I hope to see you all again at the next event! (And H20nut, I promise you Sabbath next time!)

I was wondering what happened to you. I had a blasat jammin with you. I'll have to increase my Sabbath library and maybe pick up a couple of simple Maiden tunes to run through some time. It was an absolute pleasure meeting you. Between you and Vickie Halverson, she had something to talk about the whole way home. :D :D

Great to meet you and I hope to hang out with you again sometime.

Ask Maureen, I was trying to remember Murders in The Rue Morgue from Killers I had the verse riff down and the chorus was coming back to me, but I couldn't think of the bridge or rhythm riff behind the solo. I'll have ready for another time :D :D

Maureen, it was great meeting you. We finally had some time to sit down and relax Sunday morning around the fire. I had a great time and I was really glad you were there to help out. You can really play that bass and are pretty handy with a six string too. Hope to see you again at some boating function somewhere.

I'm trying to see if I can get time off to go to Jasper, I was able to make it last year and I had a great time. I got to meet a lot of ODBA people, and they were all really nice. The racing was great, and the hotel party was a lot of fun. I think most people stayed at one hotel (maybe the only one in town?) and everyone was hanging out, playing acoustic, etc. It was definitely worth lying my ass off at work to get the time to go there : )
If I can make it again, I look forward to seeing everyone. Maybe I'll toss a beater guitar in the trunk, just in case. There's never a bad time for Maiden, right? lol
Say hi to Wendy and Vickie for me (don't know if they read the boards) and Shorepounder, tell your wife to email me when she gets a chance, through the board email is easiest.
