what is the ngk number for the gap electrode type plug for a 83 2.4 with the original hemi type heads? This is a slightly modified 200,piston mods, chest, open breather, still at stock compression for now.I was concerned about what heat range to run in this type plug.

Replies are sometimes a little slow in coming during the summer months. Reckon why?
The 9-series heat range is what you want: B9HS-10 will work good in your motor.

Are you back together? B9HS-10 sounds good and chamion l77jc4 will work too.

I ran the Champions one time...........I took them right out and went back to NGK's, the Champions would foul and I could hardly get on plane.
BHUW, or BUHW something like that is what the book calls for on most 200's, but those are the surface gap plugs.

waterwings, right next to wilmington n.c I am south from atlantic beach.I think washington is about two hours away from me.I run my boat in the intercoastal waterway around snows cut bridge area.(on week days only, too crowded weekends).thanks for the info.Just installing the motor back on the boat.Im taking the 81 225 fishing motor off. This mod 200 vertical reed motor should hopefully perform better.
