Cool old Mark 25...That mid section isn't a "HYDRO SHORT" you know...
We had a Mark 25 with two pipes like this in about 1959. Can't recall which block we had, but seems it may have been stock 25 with Hubbel "Pads"...ran like hell... reed block spunning around one heat in Phoenix....between heats we got the reed block lined back up, threaded the case and reed cage with a "Farm" bolt....and won the second heat...At "MONEY" races, we'd do anything to get back on the course...
Seems like, we ran a gravity tank from an old KR A....

Cool info Ron.
Yes, It is a Q tower (from what I can tell). There used to be a plate welded down the back to add strength. When I rebuilt the motor, I cut the plate off and ground the weld down. I realize this compromised strength, but it is only powering my stand at current time. This motor is only 85% complete, I plan to paint it all the silver cloud white and the side covers will be black and silver. Since this is a rat motor, I figured originallity didn't matter.
I am still looking for a mk25 front cover though.
