I've got 2 more coats of paint & then rigging time. I have started making part two to the http://www.sclakes.com/lbbu.html

I have about 12 good shots of the boat so far & am hoping to have it ready by this weekend.

You stated the hull or deck or both had been cleared since the boat was originaly built. The clearing job must have been gel coat as gel coating over paint,especially epoxy types,leads to a mess. Thought you might want to let some folks know this before they get into a project of this magnitude. Sorry for the butt in. Not trying to steal your thunder on the refurbishing job. Nice project!

The clear was a regular automotive clear I think. I'm not sure if they make a clear that is to be used on gel coat. Don't know. Good point Alan.
