Gator boots

I need help with the following

I went shopping today for a new pair of Gator boots and asked the sales clerk what the difference between the leather on the different boots was and he responded with the following. Looking for help. Do you know the difference between a Texas Gator and a Louisiana Gator? Once you give a Texas Gator an enema there isn't enough left to make a belt! Florida gators are in Florida because they can't cut it in Louisiana. Alabama Gators are bread from only the best Florida Gators. We don't have any Gators in Virginia so I'm lost.

My boots have holes in the bottom and I can't decide which pair to buy.
