My (computer illiterate... atleast more so than I) has aquired two old project Mercedes cars from an estate sale... both cars have been under restoration but need lots and lots of work to be completed... they look like fugitives from a scrap yard... he has asked me to help sell 'em over the internet...
These things are probably 50 years old or more, but there is probably a market somewhere out here... does anyone have any ideas?

I'll post a few pix if anyone is interested in seeing these things...

ebaymotors.com The one place I've seen where a man can sell an ounce of crap for the price of 2 ounces of gold.
My advice if you go that route : Take lots of pictures and be prepared to answer a myriad of stupid questions.

Good luck.

Gotta' be a market for ANYTHING that old that is still reasonably intact - especially considering how fanatical vintage German car people are... I'd think that a quick-look on the Web under Mercedes, including model type (IE; 180, 220d, Gullwing or whatever...) would yield owner group info and lots of potential buyers. Good Luck!;)

I was hoping to run upon a site like our own S & F, but devoted to the Mercedes automobiles... no such luck yet...

Ebay is looking better and better evry day... I'm waiting for more info on the cars... hell, I don't even know what year these things are.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

LMV... that was exactly the spot I was looking for... very similar to S & F. I put a post up over there , so we'll wait and see where it goes from here.

Thanks again!
