I was swapping the oil out of my Sportsmaster (pickling time for me) and I didn't find any type of gasket on the top vent plug similar to the bottom plug or as depicted in the cheesy manual provided. I searched through the oil. Nothing.

Is there supposed to be one there on the top vent? If there is, it didn't seem to be missed as the oil was a happy homogenous blue-green.

John,

While I'm in Korea, will you come to my house and make my boat perfect?

By the way sir, how would you feel about a Chopper II in 28" on my boat?

What really matters is how you feel about it.

John probably didn't feel or hear a thing, unless he was within a mile or two, when I was making a couple girls scream his name, he's just not sensitive like that. ;)

I'll bet he likes to cuddle.

Hunter I had the same experience. Turned out the o ring was stuck in the vent plug hole. Had to use a dental pick to get it out. Rick
