Hey guyz,

we talked about this a few post ago, here's the deal, August 2cd, Hot boat gathering on Rabbit Island, Lake Eufaula, AL.

Directions, headed north out of Dothan on 431n go to the first bridge past NorthLake Chevorlet in Eufaula, look to your right as you cross the bridge and you'll see the boat ramp( barbour creek ramp), go left out of the creek to the big water, vere to the left and go north, up river app.2miles, island is on the right when you see the railroad trussell.

If your coming in from the North you want to go all the way though town on 431s until you pass the comfort inn and suites, the boat ramp road vere's off to the left right pass the red light. If you have any questions just e-mail me.

We'll try to be on the water by 11:00 am and stay until.

How do you think the DNR "water cops" will react to all us 100mph hot boats rippin it up between the trussell and hwy 82 bridge? I don't think they can catch any of us. Later

BTW guys, the water is high right now, so there's not much of a sand bar. Maybe it will come down by then. You may want to bring 2 achors just in case, this way you can anchor off the island a bit and everyone will still have room to park.

If the water is still too high, we can go to emerald point, which is 1 mile away, north of the island.

I don't think you got anything to worry about. Hell I think we'll be safer around the green mile. It kinda looks like the 'ol game warden boats that used to hang around up there. LOL! They will probably think your checking us. Just wear a brown uniform and wear one of those fishing life jackets. We can't lose!

Well we had a small crowd, weather was perfect all day, no lake lice, no water possum's, and no rain.

We went to the camper saturday night, everybody showed up, Tim A., myself, miss daphne and hipockets got toa up from the floa up, 4sizzle my nizzle.

Have not yet gotten a chance to try it. Woke up yesterday and went fishing along the rocks at the railroad tressel where we were Sat. Got burnt to a crisp. Last time I let Brit talk me into going fishing at the last minute. Stayed gone from 9:30 till bout 3:00. By the time we got back it was starting to cloud up and thunder. SOOOOOOOOO I'm gonna try to get to the Bar and try it one afternoon when nobody's around....Do not underestimate the sneekyness.

We went to Nashville to visit a friend of Kendals and got robbed Sat. night. Took everything in my car. I've been dealing w/banks, credit card, and insurance people all f**king day. Other than beeing broke we had a pretty good time.

Itchy, get those pics up on the board so I can see what I missed.

It looks like we will be able to make the Chatt. trip and the Labor day camp out. Looking forward to both.

Spdboat you missed a pretty good weekend. I had more fun laughing Saturday night than I can remember! Still start laughing when i think about Tim A. and the chair incident. he he he he he, Big B I got your stuff finished. Just have to do a little clean up on it. Will you be around this weekend or are you gonna head out of town again? let me know and I can run it up to ya one night. I need to run back up that way this week anyway. and itchy you get to posting the pics except the one with bryan's @$$ in it, hahaha. Had a nice discovery this afternoon, turns out the floor I put in the green mile this past winter was not marine ply as was stated, but some furniture grade **** that has already started coming delaminated at the back, I went to the hardware store and had a little talk this afternoon and at least got my money back and a free sheet of marine grade, I got pissed and tore it out this afternoon, I should have it sanded smooth and ready to put back in by wednessday night. Thank god I did not use it in the stringers! So hopefully i will be back on the water this weekend. See you all at the Sand bar.~ GB

SPDBOAT, sorry to hear about your misfortune, first miss kendal wrecks her ****, and now this. It makes you wanna ask what next? Hope everything is going better for you today.

GB, miss daphne said, BIGB, that green mile sure does ride smoooooooooth, role on 2!!!! Then she took another swallow of that red label BUDWIESER.........nasty ****.........she's alot tougher than most!

I'll be leaving for Denver CO. Wed. at noon, be back Saturday afternoon around 5:00 pm or so. May not make it to the camper on saturday night. I'm sure i'll be beat from standing in the freakin airport all day. No hurry on the stainless piece, but i need the aluminum piece first of next week so i can get it preped and painted before the Suwannie trip. Brit is looking forward to seeing her and trying to get Ruby to come out of her shell. LOL! I will probably give ya a call sometime this afternoon. Pops is looking into a boat around your area. He's looking for a boat like an Interceptor. Something with a 350 to 502 in it. I've been trying to talk him out of a bowrider but no can do right now. Sorry about this weekend. We had a blast even though it was just us local hell raisers.

Yep, that is EFI 2.5's boat, he was the only non local there. Everyone had a good time, need to do it again sometime, before the summer is over. Was pretty smooth most of the day going in to the ramp got rough, but a good day none the less. ~GB

for the trailer some time in the next day or so and put it in and ride. Gonna also get a hub put back in the prop too. I'm off all day on friday. Gotta do the Pool job from 5:30 am to 8:00 am so I'll probably just leave from there with the boat and head that way. Don't know yet if Brit's gotta work friday yet or not. I'll keep ya posted on that one.
