End of summer-check out ride

OK, now's the time! We've been talkin' about the Sept end o' summer get to gether. I've been thinhin' bout all of us who want to take a ride this Saturday, July 26th, on the southern St.Johns river to check out the spot I've been talkin' bout. Anyone interested is welcome. It's in the Sanford area. Lots of weed, mud, and rockfree shoreline for lot's o boats. Nothin' but sand . Nice Holiday Inn in Sanford on Lake Monroe to stay at! We'll put in around 11:00AM and go check it out and have a few beers. No speed limits. Whoever want to go this Saturday, please respond. Here's a pic of the spot. Thanx, WILDMAN

ive been getting PM's about room costs, that seems to be the biggest concearn

i wish i could make it but tied up till after the rumble, been making slow headway on my motor and cant wait to be back on the water, found out my gearcase housing is bad so that puts me further back on completion time :rolleyes: i may end up boatless at the time this comes around :(

Anytime you want to take that ride let me know and count me and at least one other boat in...Its literally my back yard (my boat is stored about 24 blocks from the lake) I also know the boys from lightnig were kicking the idea of that run around also. Given enough time I can probably put togeather a couple of more boats (its tough getting everyone on the same page :p )

Randy, sometimes when y'all are gonna do somethin' like that I wish you'd haul Wally along. I think he's kinda bored these days. I wish you could get him to get on the computer and play with us here. I've been after him to do it for over a year. He told me he's been down to your place some. I'm sure you know his background with Merc and he's REAL knowledgeable. We've been friends for almost 30 years.
