1988 ARCHERCRAFT N/A, 13' Very fast two seater speedboat. Completely rebuilt with additional re-enforcements. Hot Foot, Jack plate, power t/t, SS prop, Viper Yellow Imron paint (not a scratch). 50hp Evinrude. Custom trailer. Perfect condition. VERY good on gas (no drag) This boat flies!! The guy wants 2,200 for it, not to bad I guess for something very different.

I've been looking unsuccessfully for either a CCC 'rude or it's counterpart the RS Johnson for years, but have yet to run across one. With their 6 2 barrel carbs sitting out at angles, they were neat lookin' engines with the cowls off. There used to be a lot of em at the races back then, but I can't figure where they all went. I've got an old Poleroid of one at St. Louis in the late 70's with a Merc style Bendix injector on it but I don't know how many of em they ever made that way. All the other ones I saw were the 6 carbs, but the OMC guys were pretty tight with lettin' people see em with the cowls off, so the injected ones could've been more plentiful than I knew back then. I'd sho' like to have one as a little brother for my F1 V8.
Until I saw this ad I never realized they were called 2.4's. I always thought they were 150 cu inches and called 2.5's, although back then people refered to the engines in inches more than in liters.

some one on here was selling a red 13 foot boat looked like a little scarab, but not one of the mercury boats, i think he called it an eagle or something. anyway, next to it in the picture was one of those, painted yellow as well.
