I have the full group of 1950's Merc racing motors posted on the Racing and History Gallery (minus the KG4H).

Sam,

That's a very impressive gallery - I love it. I especially like the information you provided with the pictures. You and I have to get together with that long-time idea I've had about creating a whole history section of this website...

Thanks again - a must see everyone!!!

Neat pictures Sam. I can shoot you a digital of my KG4H and let you add it if you'd like, but mine doesn't have a lower pan on it. For that engine as well as both my KG7H's, I've only got 1 lower shroud to share between all 3 and it's not painted yet. I don't even know for sure if the lower is the same between the KG4H & KG7H's.

Collecting 6 cyl's is a lot simpler if it wasn't for the weight.

Just lock on to eBay and ante up, they sell pretty frequently and for a little less than 20H's

Yeah, Raceman a nice digital of your KG4H would be nice. Did you notice how many of 87's motors had lower cowls?

You would think someone would set up a buck and start pounding them out.

One problem with the lowers is, that in my opinion, the motors look so much cooler without em. Stick em on and they look like an old 3 horse OMC.

I was watchin' a lower a while back on E Bay and it got up close to $200. For that kinda money I'll just stick with my one until somebody repops em.
