prop help

Hi Gang,

I have a 22 velocity with a mercury 250 xs. I'm having a little trouble with finding the wright prop. Best prop so far is a Bravo 1 four blade 28p. With a half tank of fuel and two people it's running against the rev limter. I'v run ever pitch in the trophy pluse props, a few tempest props and mirage props. the boat has a 6" set back with a sportmaster gear case running 1:72.1.

Any prop gods out there??

My brother has a 22 Velocity with a 225 EFI Merc and we've run quite a few but nothing is really shining above the rest. He's liked a Bama Cut Chopper from performance propeller but keeps coming back to his 26 Trophy plus. The boat is right around 68 to 69 mph at around 5800 to 6000 depending on the prop. Sounds like the Bravo might be working good form you and that you just need more pitch. That is on our list to try as well as some Mazco choppers. I really think the Bravo might be the hot ticket for this boat and the speed you are getting is very respectable for this set up.
