Is there anyone here that can give me information on a 2002 Merc 250 XB PRO. I’m looking to purchase diagnostic scan tool and want to make sure I get the right one and the correct software and cables. Every time I look it up and put in (XB) the search directs me to the XS as in optimax. I am interested in the techmate, but I’d like to be sure before I buy. I would also like to get engine data up on my humminbird helix. This motor is not smartcraft capable, but through my research I’ve heard that there is a way to convert the signals to work.
Thanks much and any information would help.
Rinda Techmate will do the job fine.

do you know the correct cable # I would need for my engine. It is the early model style 250 pro Xb with the duel throttle plates. And does not have smart gauge capability.
If it's a twin box set up

Thanks much 108! You are exactly correct. I checked my engine diag connector and it is the four pin square. Looks like I’m back to searching for a Rinda Techmate! Much appreciated!
