Will the latest 70s flywheel work in an early 80s 3/9 system? flywheels look almost identical. I know the 70s has 10amp electrical and newer has 9amp.

Parts list shows 1977 supersedes to #0582403 same as 1983. I know first hand the V6 crossflow race flywheel 1976? works on 1983 regular motor.

Have a part number? I know second effort made an even fire light weight flywheel way back when but required different electronics and crankshaft....wasnt available til 1982

The gold flexplate flywheel for a crossflow V6. I think Seaway in WA State still has a new one on the shelf! Even fire and stock fire flywheels are the same, the timer base is different for the even fire crank.

Yes, flywheel from the CCC or RS V6 in 1976. Which had the old screw terminal electronic ignition. Also works on the new style with plugs.
