very impressed. out of the box, 0 cup. sent it out before i even turned it, was expecting not easy to plane like most o/v hubs. amazing i can pnane off @ 2800, never looses its hook. now a little loose in ste broke rn above 55 hit it to 70 about 5500 smooth, no vibration, like the 3 bbl. ive been top-end crazy mostly, now backing off for good economical cruise ride.im over my 5 hr breakin, just want to see if it will break my top # of 80. no prop rattle! now im at 50-1 oil, 93 pump. thanks for asking, Art.

Hope I dont come off as a Debbie Downer, or contrarian, but this is my experience with drag props. I had a smaller diameter Signature drag 4, and have a Yamaha drag 3. Both have a lot of rake, and neither worked well on my ltv. Maybe a full size 4 blade would work, but they both seemed to slip too much for a top end prop on my setup.
I like a cleaver, or even chopper over a high rake drag.

I had a Drag 3 for my SS2000, and liked the Drag 4 better, so I sold the Drag 3. Both were Hill castings, but I don't know who finished either as I bought them used. I have a new Drag 4 finished by Billy Eaves to try.

Whipper, were yours Hill props or real Yamahas and do you know who finished them? I expect without data that if I had sent the drag 3 off for work, it would have come back better.
