How much do I take off a 2.5 200 head to get 135lbs. compression with stock gaskets?

These are stock heads never been cut. They have light peppering that needs cleaning up. I know it’s not as precise as fly cutting, but has anybody used the giant belt sanders like automotive shops use? How can they take it down evenly with those?

Please go to a machine shop & have them take off .020. 20 thousandths. You should be good there.

Put a set of 2.0 heads on it. That should get you where you want to be.
