Does tcw 3 go bad I have some 3 yr old top on but opened in the shed in S.Fl is it still good. Thanks Rick

Unless it gets contaminated, I have never heard of any oil go bad.

Oil should be both lubricant and additive package. Unless the additive package has volatiles, it shouldn’t go bad just from being opened. Though some additives might just simply age. I don’t know. Good question for Chris Carson.

Oil itself does not go bad, most storage issues would stem from water intrusion...or condensation. I'm sure the top 3/4 is still good as long as you don't shake it up. The bottom layer is where any water would settle and that can be disastrous in a 2-stroke
