I just received my JSRE Formula 1/Drag flywheel today and all I can say is, "wow!" I can't believe how light it is, and the work on it is incredible. Note the Simon Motorsports pulley that's installed on top of the flywheel. More on that very soon in a feature article ;)
I'll take more pictures of this flywheel soon - right now I'm just looking at it and showing it to everyone here.

Get that Stream ready because I'll be down there in August. I'm going to be boatless so I'm going to need something for the 16th and 17th. Should I pick it up or will you meet me at the ramp?

David,
I live only a few minutes from the ramp, so you can just come and pick it up. I'll even have the dust cleaned off it for you ;)

How can I get one of those flywheels, and how much did it cost?

The flywheel was cut by Jay Smith Racing. Information about their flywheels is at http://www.jaysmithracing.com. It's an incredible piece.
