Need help figuring out how to sell and move 2 new boat engines from my brother-in-law's house in Morristown, Indiana
He is unable to help with info on parts, however I believe he put only high performance parts into these engines. He planned on putting one is his 1995 22' Nordic.
Since he is in memory care he can not help with info.

Please advise on approximate value for each.

Pull the valve covers off and take pics of the casting numbers. The blue one has some sort of aftermarket heads on it. Steve Schmidt Racing engines is in Indy, if are able to load them up and take them there for an evaluation.

Looks like Steve Schmidt Racing in no longer in business. Phone disconnected, Internet says permanently closed. Any other shops around Indy?

There is something about a fire (and a new shop building) on their facef**k page... I can't see most of it without an account: https://www.facebook.com/SteveSchmidtCompetitionEngines/

Wonder if the tag on the valve cover is who built them. Might be worth a call.

worst case scenario, pull the pan, measure stroke, maybe a 468,502?

By the outside I'm gonna guess they were carbed hp 500's to start with.

I would definitely contact one or both of the engine builders that I linked to... they may have a record of what they did and what they put in them. One has an online contact form and phone number; the other has a facebook page saying they had a fire but are moving to a new shop. Worst case, you get a value for one and price them the same... win or lose on the deal, they aren't any good to him sitting in the garage.
