It's about time that we expanded nuclear power.

U.S. is working hard to make it happen “in this decade.” And he said the goal is “a massive ramp-up and scale-up of this technology” over the next 10 to 15 years.

Plants are too expensive now that debt has reached 35 trillion. They sent it all to Ukraine . How do you pay for that now without printing more monopoly money? , just add the cost to the rate payers for 40 years ? Those days are ova
So you would rather send American troops HUH?
They are carrying our water, no American lives at risk, and we have this sudden awaking that cheap little drones can destroy our best tanks, little drone boats can swarm and destroy our billion-dollar ships, It's been quite an eye-opener, awaking us to the changes of warfare,
Putin is on the ropes, I'm glad they are now fighting on Russian soil, I've been to Poland twice, and my mother's family lives near the border with Russia, the Russian Mafia has been a real problem in Poland, It's been almost 30 years since I've been there so I'm not sure if they got them under control or not, money is the root of all evil.

I would rather see Americans at the southern border stopping human trafficking, criminals and fentanyl. Wouldn't you rather see the money towards US health care. Maybe a real drug plan that help your significant other ? Putin is on the ropes ? Come on now, this is military industrial complex weapons sales 101. Zelensky is scooping people off the streets and feeding them into this machine, hardly anyone left

Yea i worked at shoreman and my father (Lilco) what's your point. The NYS Cuomo (Mario) gang and their paid activist shut it down before they produced anything. The closing cost and construction debt was applied to the residents of shoreman. I think the last nuclear plant built in Georgia was years late, tremendous over budget cost. State regulators will probably pass the cost to consumers.
The government created LIPA to buy the plant from LILCO, and legislators reached an agreement allowing LIPA to add a three percent surcharge to all power bills for 30 years to finance its $6 billion dollar debt. According to Ms. Wood, it cost taxpayers nearly $200 million dollars to simply close the plant.
You said the government was going to pay for the construction, false the 6 billion was paid by the consumers.

First started by local Nora Bredes a local mother after the near meltdown of Three Mile Island in 1979
SHAD grew to a 15,000-protester march, which was not Cumo's Idea, FALSE.

I just said that , Shoreham was saddled w construction and closing cost via increased rates. The county taxes lost from shoreham plant also vastly raised property and local school taxes. They got fked by Cuomo. When we had nuclear power in sights, democrats/activist attacked it. Was great for Mario politically. Either way , the final excuse of no evacuation plan for people east of the plant should have been realized by state planning before they oked & built the fkn thing. Well you know how NY democrats work

I actually agree with Cuda on something.. Nuclear is the best answer we have for creating affordable and reliable energy... We have the tech to make it much safer now... Keep the FF affordable for transportation and BOATING!
