2.4 1988 XR4 Block concern

Just got block back from machine shop and noticed something a tad eye catching....On cylinder #1 the sleeve is a tad separated from the block cast causing a small gap. I even put alcohol in the gap to see if it would seep out. Alcohol stayed, even old piston looks good from cylinder #1 and the head for that area. With this block I needed to clean up cylinders #3 and #6 so I had to take the whole block to .020 to get everything cleared for new Weisco Pistons for their clearance....My concern is I've never seen this before is it a concern ? Probably gonna be a heat transfer issue.

Is that a replacement sleeve? Looks like it's not installed correctly. Is it loose? Is it out of round?

that ain't gonna work very long at all.... register (?) needs boring and oversize sleeve...

think its called register?.. been way to long ta remember for sure
