Compression: 150 OMC

I have a friend that is looking for a motor. He's found a 1997 Johnson Faststrike 150. It has 110 pounds on 4 cyls and 100 on the other 2.
He wants opinions as to buy or pass. So... What do you think?

De-carbon it and see what the compression does.

This motor is at a dealer. It was a trade in. I'm not familiar with the dealer's practices, so I don't know what he'll go for...

It sounds low to me. My 95 intruder runs 125 to 135, but I don't know what the specs call for. Would be interested to know. I do know that the lower 2 cylinders run lower, I believe by design.
