On my bucket list to go and view it. Without a doubt the most difficult motor sports event in the world. Thanks for the clip

So impressive, the talent and nerves to be able to run 280kph (176mph).

The best on board I’ve seen!

A lap around the island is 39+ mls and you see the weather change in this video from one side of the island to the other.

You are correct sir!

I posted this before but deserves to be posted again.

Several years ago one of the bike magazines did two stories on the Isle of Man race.

One story was a guy from the US that had always dreamt of racing there and spent a year doing his best to teach himself the course from 3000 miles away which as you can imagine is very difficult or impossible to do.

Another one was a volunteer course worker.

The course worker told the story of being trained and was standing in one of their Thruway islands where the racers were going past him two or 3 feet away.

Told the story of seeing two guys on a Sidecar pass them so close he could see their eyes.

15 minutes later , he heard on the radio of the guy training him to red flag The course.

There was a fatal accident at the far end of the island and two fatalities.

It was the two guys on the Sidecar!

The guy that actually raced it was an accomplished American racer so not a newbie to road racing just new to the island.

Told his story and at the end of the race, which she finished, he was so scared, he threw up in his helmet!
