How many issues can a bad flywheel cause?

2.5L merc 200. Found 3 cracked magnets on a 16amp flywheel. What scenarios can occur from this? Kill stator? Switchboxes? reg? coils?

I haven't personally experienced your problem, so just a guess here. I doubt a small crack would do any damage to electronics. When the magnets let go is when all hell breaks loose.

typically only causes run issues when the magnets break loose and shift. Remember those aint timing magnets, they only charge. So they wont really damage anything unless they get jammed in between other stuff.
