anyone ever heard of a pace motor? i have a friend that was looking for an engine with low hrs and stumbled upon this at a dealership. the salesman told him that mercury takes a new motor, run it for a while to test for any malfunctions and then sell it if all is good (at a lower price). why on earth would they do this anyway? sounds weird to me.
