I have a 1995 SS140. Everytime I go out I am taking on water. Lots of water over a several hour period. Bilge pump replaced as the exit nipple was broke. I filled the rear of boat with water, just above livewell pumps. It say overnight and not a drop on outside of boat??? I am thinking that the livewell pump(s) may be leaking through the hull. So my big question is: Looking at the pump going through hull it appears there is a larger hole around the pump threads. Anyone had this issue or can you tell me what the deal with this is? I have new pumps to install but after looking at this I am confused. Put pressure on all the hoses and do not find any leaks.

Had my livewell leaking over the top between the top of livewell and top cap, look inside livewell with mirror to see gap. also the bottom drain fitting of livewell leaking into bilge, Mine is an '86 hydra-sport, but they're all the same. If you are going to keep the boat, get rid of the plastic through hull fittings, they are nothing but a problem. Use brass or stainless, sealed with 5200 on anyting below the water line. What else you might look at is the joint at the cap behind the rub rail. My $.02.
