I heard about a movie that was made this year, but not released and found that it was based on an article in the New Yorker

I love the old Warner Brothers cartoons. And for about 10 years, lawsuits were a significant part of my work. What could be more fun then a Coyote lawsuit? Apparently not the movie, but at least the New Yorker bit is fun.

That's why I have a hard time believing the things that take the blame for violence in youth today. I saw countless hours of cartoon animals and people shooting, beating, bombing, booby trapping the living **** out of each other, and I don't recall anyone of my generation ever using that for an excuse to violence. Hmmm, maybe we should look into those SSRIs, eh?

Sounds like WB is going to allow the film to be shoped around for a studio to pick up the project.

It’s possible the movie is good, but more likely it’s bad. That’s why Warner Brothers did not release it and instead the movie is being shopped around.

I shared the link with friends who like me, spent too much time talking to defense attorneys. We all love the article. And I am still watching the original cartoons, which are easy to find online.
