What are you guys using to prevent the accidental shorting of the + & - battery connections on the battery?
I was thinking of mounting a .250" piece of Plexiglas to the battery hold down bracket studs as they are long enough so as to cover the posts/lugs as I can't seem to find anything of quality that will work as my wires are bolted to the studs not the posts. The posts still have the covers that came with the battery. I am thinking of mounting the plexiglas about 1" over the terminals unless there is a better idea. Plexiglas will allow to keep a eye on the connections and i believe its non conductive.
