I see on site everyone says to time 2.5 at 25 degrees. I’m confused. Sorry about picture, looks great in photo library. Says remove white lead, time at 15 degrees btdc at cranking speed, which will be 16 degrees at 5000rpm.

25 is considered the maximum safe timing for a high hp 2.5/2.4
150 is not high hp
If you are not trying to modify or tweak your engine then just set it how it says on top of your motor. Sure the motor can run more timing but it also wants more fuel if you do that.

Time it the way it says. Then check timing at full advance. Should not be past 22 degrees. 20 is safer.

Does anyone know if this motor has an advance module that backs off timing after 5600? Is max advance of 22 with the advance module hooked up or unhooked?
