Looking for some help for my 1988 Johnson GT200 3L. I bought this engine new and it ran great when stored some 20 years ago. I'd like to get a little more out of it and want to remove the air box baffle and replace stock reed valves with Boyesen reeds. I know the stock 62D hi-speed jets will need to be changed. What size jets should I use with these changes? Also do the idle and intermittent jets need to be changed?
Thanks for any suggestions.

On an otherwise stock engine removing the baffle will not help rpm or power. If you do IMO start with 74D jets, do not drill your jets.

Thank you for your reply. I been chasing information on the site for awhile. I actually have a set of 74D jets from on earlier 300GT project. I thought they were a big step up from the 62Ds so was hesitant to try.
