Hello,
I have yet to check the timing on my 225HO after a complete rebuild. I don't have a load wheel but have an old aluminum prop I plan to reduce the diameter on (Lathe) and use it for a load wheel. My question is this:

In you all's experience how much does the timing change after a rebuild? None of the linkage has been tampered with, Just the stator, trigger ect were removed and re-installed.

I ran the motor for over 20 years without checking the timing, so I have no base line. Just curious.
Thank you,
Dave

find a test wheel on E-bay about $200. Never hurts to do a lync & sync plus setting timing if never done in 20 yrs.

If the same parts were put back on and timing stop not moved it can change about 1 degree as top cap can be moved a bit. IMO always check timing after a rebuild.
