Peak voltage meter

I am trying to check power packs outputs for an Evinrude V8 year 1985. I am trying to purchase a peak voltage meter to do the test. I identify some of them online, however, there are some very expensive and others very cheap. Based on that, I want to see if someone con recommend one for a good price that can do the job.

CDI makes a pretty nice one . Multimeter Good for DVA, diodes and all other functions. Around $200, bought mine from Pro Marine
